About the Role:

You will be part of a highly collaborative product team working at the core of our manufacturing facility transforming digital models into physical elements at scale.

Product Teams at GROPYUS own what they build, including underlying infrastructure, build pipelines, automated testing, release and rollout management, monitoring, and support. You will be trusted to solve problems efficiently and effectively building on top of a solid architecture and operational foundation and will be encouraged to seek out under-attended topics and assume responsibility for them both within your product area as well as across product areas.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for integrating and coordinating the PLC, Robot and 3 rd -party systems which manufacture wall and slab elements. You will write software – both alone as well as in pair with your team colleagues, ensure functionality with a solid testing approach and deploy and rollout changes to the live systems. Furthermore, our teams are also responsible for operating and troubleshooting the software they have developed during working hours of the factory.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) on the Product Delivery team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, building, testing and operating software solutions for logistics and manufacturing use cases incl. Robots, AGVs and other (semi) automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Working in a hybrid infrastructure environment (cloud and on-prem), managing complex software deployments at scale
  • Bringing a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset to monitor, maintain, and improve software uptime including reliable updates, latency, and efficiency
