ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a fast-growing, seed-stage fintech company that is building the operating system for Germany's tax advisory industry. As an Applied AI Engineer on the AI & Automation team, you'll sit at the heart of transforming how modern accounting and tax advisory firms operate. You'll build AI-powered automation, integrate systems across firms, and help scale a proprietary platform for fast, reliable delivery. Your work will directly boost productivity and service quality across a growing network of partner firms.
This is a high-impact, early-stage role where you'll collaborate closely with founders and product teams, and have a meaningful say in shaping the technical architecture.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build automation and infrastructure tools that turn repetitive, manual work into fast, reliable execution.
- Translate accounting and tax advisory processes into scalable, AI-powered software solutions.
- Integrate systems and data across multiple firms to create a coherent, unified platform.
- Collaborate with founders, domain advisors, and product teams to ship high-impact features.
- Help shape the tech stack architecture with a focus on speed, reliability, and scale.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
- 3+ years of experience applying AI in real-world, production contexts — including regulated domains.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
- Proven experience building AI-powered automation that accelerates real business workflows.
- Solid CS fundamentals with a pragmatic, clean coding style.
Nice to Have
- Interest in or familiarity with accounting, finance, and process optimization.
- German language proficiency.
