On-site Engineering Internship at a Series B EdTech company in Berlin or London, working on a mobile/web AI learning platform. Requires work authorization in Germany or the UK; no visa sponsorship.
ABOUT THE ROLE
A fast-growing, Series B–funded EdTech startup is looking for an Engineering Intern to join their team. The company operates a widely-used AI-powered learning platform for students, with tens of millions of users across more than 30 countries. This is a hands-on internship where you'll work alongside a talented engineering team to help build and improve products that students rely on every day for homework help, exam prep, and AI-assisted learning.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Contribute to the development and improvement of a high-scale consumer mobile/web learning platform
- Work on real product features used by millions of students globally
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers in an agile environment
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices
- Take ownership of tasks and deliver meaningful impact from day one
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Solid foundational programming skills and a genuine passion for building software
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Authorized to work in Germany or the United Kingdom — no visa sponsorship is available
Experience with mobile development (iOS/Android), web technologies, or AI/ML tools is a plus, given the nature of the platform.
