ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an engineering and R&D team working on autonomous drone delivery systems. You will design, integrate, and test robotic systems from prototype through field validation, helping make drone operations safe and reliable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design and integrate robotic mechanisms, sensors, actuators, controllers, and drone payload systems.
  • Develop control, navigation, path-planning, and obstacle-avoidance solutions.
  • Build and test robotics software using ROS or ROS 2, C++ or Python, and simulation tools.
  • Integrate flight controllers, companion computers, communication links, and telemetry with drone systems.
  • Build, troubleshoot, and validate prototypes in the field, analyzing flight logs and sensor data.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and software teams on prototype development and deployment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in robotics, UAV systems, or autonomous systems.
  • Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, control theory, PID, and system integration.
  • Experience with ROS or ROS 2, Linux, and C++ or Python; MATLAB familiarity is useful.
  • Practical experience with PX4 or ArduPilot, MAVLink, motors, ESCs, batteries, and flight controllers.
  • Experience with IMU, GPS or RTK, LiDAR, sensor fusion, and GPS-denied navigation.
  • Embedded systems skills, including microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi or Jetson, actuators, and hardware debugging.
  • Familiarity with CAN, UART, I2C, and drone telemetry, plus experience prototyping, field testing, and analyzing flight logs.
  • Background in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, aerospace, computer science, or a related discipline. Computer vision, machine learning, SLAM, simulation, CAD, or BVLOS experience is a plus.
