ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a fast-growing, early-stage startup building an enterprise-grade AI platform that helps organizations securely adopt and integrate generative AI across their operations. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll own features end-to-end — from architecture decisions through to production deployment — and have real, meaningful impact on a product used across a wide range of enterprise customers.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Berlin, Germany. Visa sponsorship is available.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and implement robust backend systems and APIs to power a scalable AI platform
- Build end-to-end solutions spanning backend (Node.js), database layers, and frontend integration
- Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models for performance and scalability
- Implement API endpoints and integrate with third-party services and AI providers
- Collaborate with the team on technical architecture decisions and system design
- Maintain and optimize the codebase for performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Participate in rotating Support Engineer duties, helping customers and the customer support team on a periodic basis
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
- 3+ years of full-stack web development experience
- Proficiency with Node.js, React/Next.js, and TypeScript
- Proven experience owning features end-to-end, from conception through production deployment
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL for data modeling, querying, and optimization
- Strong computer science fundamentals
Nice to Have
- Experience building AI-powered features or integrating AI/ML services into applications
- Proficiency with Tailwind CSS for frontend styling
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with product leadership and cross-functional teams
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary: $66,000 – $120,000 per year (USD equivalent), depending on experience
- Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
