Founding Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is the first engineering hire at a Y Combinator–backed AI marketing startup, joining a two-person founding team to own product features end to end. You'll work directly with the founders and customers — figuring out what to build, shipping it, and iterating until it drives real value. The role spans product thinking, frontend, backend, LLM pipelines, data, and customer conversations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own full product features from ambiguous problem through to live, customer-facing product.

• Work side by side with the founders and customers to understand needs and translate them into product improvements.

• Design simple, intuitive UX for complex agentic and data-driven workflows.

• Build and maintain LLM pipelines and agentic workflows within the core product.

• Contribute across the full stack — frontend, backend, and data layers.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 1–8 years of hands-on experience shipping production SaaS features end to end.

• Proven ability to take a product from 0 to 1 — ideally in a startup or fast-moving environment.

• Strong practical experience designing and implementing LLM pipelines and agentic workflows.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and React; familiarity with Vite, Supabase, Vercel, and ClickHouse is a plus.

• Comfortable owning ambiguous, full-stack work without needing detailed specs.

• Strong communicator who enjoys direct customer engagement and turning feedback into product decisions.

• Eligible to work in Germany or able to obtain a work visa.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base salary: €85,000 – €120,000 per year

• Equity: VSOP package included

On-site in Munich, Germany. No remote option — the team works together in person.
