ABOUT THE ROLE

We're a fast-growing, Series A/B-backed EdTech company building an AI-powered mobile learning platform used by tens of millions of students across the globe. Our suite of tools — including an AI tutor, smart flashcards, homework assistance, and peer-generated study notes — helps students study smarter and perform better academically.

We're looking for a motivated Engineering Intern to join our team and contribute to the product and infrastructure powering one of the most widely used student learning platforms in the world. This is a hands-on role where you'll work alongside experienced engineers and ship real code from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate with full-time engineers on building and improving features across the platform
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments
  • Contribute to mobile and/or backend development efforts depending on team placement
  • Work closely with product and design teams to deliver user-facing improvements
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid fundamentals in at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Swift, Kotlin, or similar)
  • Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and deliver in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Genuine interest in education technology and building products that matter to students

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with mobile development (iOS or Android) or web frameworks
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure or backend services
  • Previous internship or project experience in a software engineering context

Work authorisation: Applicants must be authorised to work in Germany or the United Kingdom. No visa sponsorship is available.
