ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-stack engineering role on the core platform team of a bootstrapped AI product studio, where you'll help build and scale the systems that enable thousands of users to interact with AI every day. You'll work across the stack — from polished React interfaces to high-throughput backend services — and take real ownership of the features you ship.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and ship full-stack features using TypeScript and React, with a focus on seamless user experience.
- Design and implement robust backend systems capable of handling terabytes of client data and millions of API requests.
- Own features end-to-end: from concept and design through deployment and ongoing operation.
- Debug and resolve production incidents, identifying root causes and implementing lasting fixes.
- Synchronize and index large client datasets while managing fine-grained permissions and access control.
- Operate and optimize infrastructure that processes millions of LLM calls per month at high reliability.
- Architect environments that spawn thousands of secure code sandboxes daily.
- Build shared base infrastructure to accelerate custom integration work across the team.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code quality through thoughtful, constructive reviews.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production full-stack features.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Solid backend experience at scale — Python, tRPC, or similar technologies — with a focus on reliability and security.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and operating high-throughput distributed services.
- Demonstrated ability to own features from concept through to production and to debug complex live-system issues.
- Experience with or strong interest in AI/LLM integrations and developer tooling.
- Comfortable mentoring peers and performing thorough code reviews.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and learns quickly.
