Summary

The Intelligence Systems Engineer (ESY3) drives interoperability engineering across Army communications suites, Intel Enablers, and Army Global Data Fabric (AGDF) cloud/on-prem services. This position integrates multi-bearer communications (CDL, Link-16, IBS, GBS, A-PNT) into the Army Integrated Tactical Network.

Key Responsibilities

Tactical Communications Systems Engineering: Perform systems engineering, installation design, and software integration for Army comms suites into Army Integrated Tactical Network baselines. Ensure Five Eyes (FVEY) coalition interoperability across tactical transport layers.

Interoperability & Data Fabric Integration

Design interoperability frameworks allowing IS&A products to interface with enterprise C5ISR systems. Support AGDF enterprise transition and integration, building interfaces for current and projected intelligence systems (CDRL D1/D7).

Configuration Reconciliation

Reconcile DoDAF OV-1s, System Design Documents (SDDs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) in Teamcenter/SAP against as-is Army comms suites baselines.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline. 4+ years of systems engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience

5+ years of systems engineering experience with tactical C5ISR, SATCOM, or intelligence data networks. Direct experience with Army comms suites, Link-16, IBS, A-PNT, or AGDF/GWS platforms is highly desirable.

Skills

Technical: Interoperability standards (MOSA/CMOSS), ICD analysis, Teamcenter/SAP, network protocol analysis, C5ISR integration.

Soft Skills

Cross-team collaboration, clear technical documentation, analytical problem-solving.

Physical Requirements

Ability to travel as required. Standard office environment with occasional requirements to visit client sites, labs, or field environments.
