About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Staff Software Systems Engineer – Technical Lead to drive the development of our Network Automation and Orchestration products. In this strategic technical leadership role, you will own the end-to-end design and development of cloud networking solutions, mentor technical teams, and establish best-in-class engineering practices. Your expertise in microservices, containerization, and cloud-native development will be instrumental in shaping the future of Extreme's cloud networking platform.
1Q, LAGs, VxLAN, EVPN, ACLs, Route Policy, MPLS/VPLS, BGP, L2 Forwarding, and L3 Routing Preferred Qualifications Experience with network orchestration platforms and automation frameworks Background in building scalable, highly available distributed systems Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical teams Familiarity with containerized deployment architectures and orchestration platforms Prior experience with telemetry and streaming analytics
