IT Internship - Process Automation & Software Development

Continental's tire division employs more than 55,000 people worldwide and has 19 production and 16 development sites. We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy intern to join our IT team and contribute to automation, integration, and software development projects. This internship provides practical experience in process automation, API integration, file conversion, data processing, and application development.
You will collaborate with experienced professionals to develop innovative solutions that enhance productivity and support the organization's digital transformation journey. Key Responsibilities Develop and support automation solutions and software applications. Assist with API integrations and system connectivity. Build tools for file conversion and data processing. Participate in coding, testing, and troubleshooting activities. Support digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
Internship Duration
3-6 Months Location: Hybrid / Onsite Reporting To : HRIT Team Lead Ideal Candidate: A curious and motivated individual with a passion for programming, automation, and technology, seeking practical experience in developing solutions that improve business efficiency and drive digital transformation.
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Technical Skills Basic programming and scripting skills, preferably in Python. Familiarity with APIs, databases, JSON/XML, and web technologies. Interest in automation, system integration, and software development. Exposure to Git or version control tools is an advantage. Eagerness to learn new technologies and programming languages. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
