Job Duties and Responsibilities Harden systems against known vulnerabilities Detect and respond to threats promptly Maintain compliant security monitoring coverage Reduce critical incidents through remediation Improve security posture with continuous assessments Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations Hands-on experience with SIEM, endpoint security, and incident response Knowledge of network security, Windows/Linux security, and threat models Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM) preferred SIEM (Splunk, QRadar) Threat detection & hunting Incident response & forensics Vulnerability management (Nessus, Qualys) Cloud security (AWS/Azure) Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) Secure scripting (Python/Bash) Analytical thinking Problem solving under pressure Clear technical communication
