Senior Embedded Software Engineer - C++

Location: Be’er Yaakov Scope: Fully Employed Model: Onsite Description: Join a multidisciplinary engineering team developing advanced real-time embedded systems that integrate software, algorithms, and electronics. Working alongside software, hardware, systems, and algorithm engineers, you will contribute to innovative, high-performance solutions while tackling complex technical challenges in a collaborative and growing environment.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain real-time embedded software using C++. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate software, algorithms, hardware, and communication components. Develop software for system control, data processing, and external interfaces. Implement and optimize software-firmware interactions. Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design through testing and deployment.

Qualifications Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline 8+ years of experience developing C++ applications for embedded and real-time systems Strong experience with multi-core architectures, multithreaded programming, OOD, and OOP principles Experience developing complex, high-performance software systems Advantage Familiarity with FreeRTOS or other RTOS environments Understanding of software-firmware integration and system-level development Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and CI/CD practices Strong analytical and mathematical problem-solving abilities Experience or theoretical knowledge in areas such as signal processing, RF systems, navigation technologies, or related technical fields is an advantage Experience working with AI-assisted development tools is a plus
