Voice AI Engineer - Bengaluru

AI Engineer to build production-grade AI agents that coordinate real legal workflows for US consumer law firms. Own end-to-end agent development, evaluation systems, and production improvements in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment. Company Details HelloCounsel builds AI workers for consumer law firms in the US. We're voice-first, but the real work is coordination—moving a case forward through the pre-litigation phase. Our agents do real work on real cases, so they have to be reliable in production.

We're a small team and everyone works like an owner. ai/ Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience building software and AI applications. Hands on with Python. Must have built AI Agents either for personal or company projects. Experience building and shipping AI-powered applications. Proven track record of shipping products that users actively use. Startup, hackathon, or open-source experience is a plus. Comfortable working with AI tools in day-to-day development and capable of validating and improving their output.

Strong problem-solving skills with a resourceful mindset. Ability to think beyond implementation and contribute to product and system design. Passion for building reliable production systems.

Responsibilities Build long-running AI agents that maintain state and move legal cases forward over hours and days. Develop and improve evaluation and regression infrastructure to ensure safe and reliable agent updates. Own an end-to-end product area from design to production deployment and continuous improvement. Design AI systems that are reliable and production-ready. Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve agent performance in production. Collaborate closely with the team to build scalable AI solutions for legal workflows. Take ownership of technical decisions and contribute to product improvements.
